Getting away from it all
Seems so long ago now, but back in December it was time for a break. Sometimes you just need to switch off from all the noise and clutter of modern life. We hired this little croft house in Callikille, on the west coast of Scotland and just chilled.
Hold on to your hats
I am exhausted but I am surviving! The opening night of my Pause and Effect show was great. Lots of people, lots of interest and am chuffed with the sales too. It's not over yet - my show is on until Wednesday 9th November so swing by and say hello to me at space fiftyfour, 54 Rivington Street London EC2A 3QN. If you can't make it, the work is now on my site, www.mrpurnam.com, so happy clicking.
My solo show is fast approaching
Just dropped my work off at the framers and can loudly exhale.... for a bit at least.
Hope to see you all there for the Private View.

Private commission - a reworking of my 'C'mon, spill the beans' print
I have just finished work on this one off, hand finished commissioned print that will soon be going to its new owner. It's a reworking of 'C'mon, spill the beans' and is double the size of the original print. 'C'mon, spill the beans'

Mr Purnam Walk for Life print
In support of The Terrence Higgins Trust and their continued work to prevent the spread of HIV and improve sexual health, I have produced a limited edition print for this year's Walk For Life event.
Inspired by the walk's theme of The Wizard of Oz, I am releasing 'Lions, tigers & bears. Oh My!' with 20% of profits going directly to the Terrence Higgins Trust.
Part of an edition of 100, each Giclee print is emboss stamped, signed and numbered.
Size: 42cm x 59.4cm
Available to buy online for £75 at www.mrpurnam.com
Had a great afternoon screen printing with Fox and Jack recently at Ink Spot Press in Brighton. They hold the New Blood Print Club sessions once a month, so check them out. Photos are by Bex Wade. Keep your eyes peeled for the results.
More sticker action
Two friends have been spreading the Mr Purnam love recently. One showed up pride of place in Bondi (thanks Marsha) and another one on the slopes of Avoriaz, France (thanks Pete)
I love a good weekend rummage
It's the weekend and I've been trawling the local shops. I came across the perfect vintage gilded frame for a one-off artist's proof I did for my 'Done Deal' print.
Frame size: 49 x 38 cm
Image size: 35 x 24 cm
If anyone is interested it's £150.
